Indian Canyons

BACKSTORY: BEAUTIFUL place to hike, relax, and enjoy the natural desert landscapes. Depending upon the time of year, you might even see a waterfall! Indian Canyons is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Palm Canyon in the Indian Canyons is the world’s largest Washingtonia filifera (California Fan Palm) oasis. The first photo on this page shows my parents there on their honeymoon.
