The Bellagio

BACKSTORY: The Bellagio is the hotel and casino where I stayed on my very first visit to Las Vegas back in 2002. Inspired by the Lake Como town of Bellagio in Italy, it features an 8-acre lake between the building and the Strip, where the Fountains of Bellagio entertain passerbys every night with a large dancing water fountain synchronized to music. Inside the Bellagio, Dale Chihuly's Fiori di Como, composed of over 2,000 hand-blown glass flowers, covers 2,000 sq ft of the lobby ceiling. Bellagio is home to Cirque du Soleil's aquatic production “O.”
