BACKSTORY: On February 29, 2012, Disneyland opened at 6am for 24 hours, closing on March 1 at 6am. It was an amazing day with record attendance of approximately 88,000 guests. The day included filming of a "Modern Family" episode for ABC as well as Soundsational Parade at 10pm and Fantasmic! at 1am. Special food was served throughout the day as most of the attractions remained open.
