TOY STORY MIDWAY MANIA |
(6/17/08–Present) BACKSTORY: Toy Story Midway Mania is an interactive theme park attraction at DCA, designed by Walt Disney Imagineering and inspired by the Disney/Pixar films “Toy Story” and “Toy Story 2.” Guests wear 3-D glasses aboard spinning vehicles that travel through virtual environments based on classic carnival midway games. Ride vehicles will record each guest’s score as points are acquired with toy cannons firing at virtual targets. The queue features a huge Mr. Potato Head audio-animatronic figure that will interact with the public (using the voice of comedian Don Rickles).
