TOWN SQUARE FLAG RAISING/LOWERING CEREMONY Every day, the Disneyland Band plays for the flag raising/lowering ceremony in Town Square, sometimes accompanied by the Dapper Dans. Disney set decorator Emile Kuri passed an accident in Los Angeles on Wilshire in which a pole was knocked down by a car; for $5, Kuri purchased it and it became the 65' flagpole in Town Square.
