20K WALK-THROUGH EXHIBIT

(July 17, 1955–1966) BACKSTORY: In the name of necessity, creativity, and economy, Disney re-used the sets from the 1954 movie “20,000 Leagues Under The Sea” and installed them in Tomorrowland as a walk-through exhibit. Removed for the “New Tomorrowland” construction in 1966, most of the sets were dismantled and allowed to rot. Nemo’s organ got yet another life and was re-used at the Haunted Mansion in the ballroom scene.
